Guy is a media expert with extensive in-house, agency and journalism experience. His background includes press office leadership, crisis and issues consultancy, editorial consultancy, media training, ghostwriting, national level journalism (business, personal finance and home news), and the full range of media relations work.
His previous roles include Head of News at the CBI, running its media relations at the intersection of policy and business. He has advised clients including the University of Oxford’s Covid vaccine manufacturing team, and worked in sectors including venture capital and technology. Amid the peak of the Covid pandemic, he led the Royal College of Nursing’s media relations team, and was the lead media adviser to Northern Rock after the run on the bank started.
